Nowt but a fleeting thing

It’s rare to see small, traditional family farms on film, but there more of us out there than you might think. We may not be the showiest, “PR pretty” branch of the industry, but we are working to improve conservation on our patch and innovate to maintain and promote a sustainable future for our precious farming environment.

The Guardian has thrown some horrendous attacks at the farming industry recently, in one instance resulting in a farmer being put on suicide watch as a direct result of inaccurate or wilfully incomplete reporting. However, as you’ll see, this beautiful short film struck a chord with life here at Lower Dairy Farm and I cannot recommend the following film highly enough.
